Fuzzy Blue Lights

My college was the most beautiful that I’ve seen it.

My tea kept getting cold waiting in my little teapot, so I constructed the cutest tea-cozy out of my ridiculously warm ducky hat!

More joy of the week.

English majors are funny

If I owned a black poodle, I’d name it “Mephistopheles.”

Get it….?

The joy that is this week.

Does this even need my commentary.

I found this winter post in my drafts pile and what a crazy comparison it seems now! Obviously, I went out with some friends this day and played big time in the snow.

My campus is so beautiful in the spring. The season—my favourite—makes everyone feel happier, despite the long list of things everyone needs to do.

[Domestic collective reading would] necessarily check the dangerous delights of solitary reading; was believed to aid family unity, and … served to initiate children to valued works of literature.

Trombone Week

I was alerted that this was a thing (it happened April 7-14 this year), and I’M SO EXCITED IT EXISTS. According to the official website, www.trombone.net

ITW [International Trombone Week—so official!] events have been held in more than a dozen countries and have included Trombone Days, liveweb streams of performances and masterclasses, premieres of new compositions, recitals, concerts, lectures, summits, symposia, videos, podcasts, a radio show… and a wedding!

This annual week-long celebration began in 2003 to promote the trombone all over the world.
